Fabulous Bazaart is back on Thanksgiving weekend at the Visionary Art Museum.! And I will have a booth there once more. Lots of great art and holiday gifts and an excuse to visit the museum as well with your out of town guests! No, not everything I have will be as “outsider” as the art doll pictured here, but I chose her to honor the spirit of the museum.

Guests may meander the elegantly decortaed castle while shopping ofr locally made treasures. The juried vendors are on the first two levels of the castle.

This highly anticipated three day indoor show features approximately 80 regional artisans with one-of-a-kind gifts for every budget. There is an onsite cafe .

New this year: Muffins and Mimosas VIP Festival Preview on Friday Dec 1 from 9-11:00 AM. Includes early access to all vendors, festive libations and pastries.

Admission: $5 adults, children 12 and under free. Tickets good for all three days. Proceeds support the Northern Virginia Handcrafters Guild Scholarship Program for college art students.

Life is full of little things that can make a big impact. The little details come together to form a bigger picture, or in this case, an exhibition of small but wonderful works. This show is for artists who dream big but work small. My piece, “Speak, Memory” will be in this exhibit.

The Maryland Federation of Art’s lovely Circle Gallery, just across the street from the Maryland Statehouse, is open daily from 11- 5 PM.

This popular show features over 50 juried artisans offering original, handmade art and craft items.. Admission includes drawing for art/jewelry. This show has been going strong for 50 years!

Admission: $3 for all three days. Children 12 and under free. Proceeds support NVHG Scholarships for graduating high school students pursing the arts in college.
