The theme of this month’s show is animals. 32nd Annual Strathmore Juried Exhibition at the lovely Strathmore Mansion. Opening reception: Thursday, February 1, 7-9 PM.
Guests may meander the elegantly decortaed castle while shopping ofr locally made treasures. The juried vendors are on the first two levels of the castle.
Hours: Saturday, December 16 from 10-4PM and Sunday December 17 from 12-4 PM.

Life is full of little things that can make a big impact. The little details come together to form a bigger picture, or in this case, an exhibition of small but wonderful works. This show is for artists who dream big but work small. My piece, “Speak, Memory” will be in this exhibit.
The Maryland Federation of Art’s lovely Circle Gallery, just across the street from the Maryland Statehouse, is open daily from 11- 5 PM.
This popular show features over 50 juried artisans offering original, handmade art and craft items.. Admission includes drawing for art/jewelry. This show has been going strong for 50 years!
Admission: $3 for all three days. Children 12 and under free. Proceeds support NVHG Scholarships for graduating high school students pursing the arts in college.

Apparently, the Fall Family Craft Festival, “scheduled” for Oct 21, downtown Baltimore, was a scam. My apologies to those who have an “upcoming events” card from my booth that includes this event.

CASA “ART OF CARING” auction and fundraising event, to support Baltimore’s children in need of assistance. The Art of Caring is CASA’s signature annual art auction, raising funds and awareness to support CASA’s mission. This year’s event will be at the American Visionary Art Museum on June 5 from 3 pm - 7 pm.. I am donating a SuperMom box to this wonderful organization.
Celebrate the art and artists of Maryland in person at the gallery or on line! Several of my pieces will be available for viewing and purchase, and I plan to attend the opening on January 14 from 5 to 8 PM, plus the First Friday on February 2 from 5 to 8 PM.

Join us at Del Ray Artisan Guild for the 25th annual Holiday Market! The Fine Art and Fine Craft Holiday Market is open for the first 3 weekends in December: December 4-6, December 11-13, and December 18-20. Different artists are featured each weekend! I will be participating during the weekend of Dec. 18-20. The artists will set up their tables and leave. This is a popular event and enthusiasm is running as high as the safety precautions (see below).
