The past is evoked with a contemporary collaged vocabulary. The spiral staircase invites the eye to travel along the fourth dimension of time, backwards into antique eras. The distance is measurable not only in years, but also in the remoteness of artistic visions and interpretations of world order. My photographs were taken in the Netherlands and Cuba.
